FCS Fins

The most common system around and you should have no problem finding FCS where ever you go. They are designed to snap off cleanly if hit, you just slacken the grub-screws, remove the remains, fit a new fin and carry on surfing.

Occasionally you can be unlucky and damage the fitting ("the plugs"). This is more likely with the nicely coloured fibreglass aftermarket "FCS copies" which are stronger and therefore do not snap off as easily.
